MedVet’s Terms of Use

Welcome to our website, https://www.medvet.com (the “Site”)! Through this Site, we, MedVet Medical & Cancer Centers for Pets and affiliated companies (hereafter referred to as “we,” “us,” “our” or “MedVet”) offer an online information and communications service that we hope you will find helpful and informative. There are a few rules of the (cyber) road that our visitors must follow when using our Site, so we ask all our visitors to read these Terms of Use (“Agreement”) carefully. Before accessing and using the Site, please read the Agreement carefully, especially the disclaimers and limitations of our liability, because they constitute a legal agreement between MedVet and you. BY USING THE SITE, YOU AGREE TO THE TERMS OF THIS AGREEMENT AND AFFIRM THAT YOU ARE ABLE AND LEGALLY COMPETENT TO DO SO.
We do not intend to make changes to this Agreement very often but reserve the right to do so. Accordingly, it is always a good idea to double check when you visit our Site to ensure that you have read and agree with the most current version of this Agreement. Your continued use of this Site after any change to this Agreement will constitute your acceptance of any new or amended terms to the Agreement. Intellectual Property Ownership; Copyrights, Patents and Trademarks
MedVet grants to you a limited license to access and make personal use of the Site. All intellectual property rights that may exist in the artwork, graphics, text, video and audio clips, trademarks, logos, HTML code, icons, photographs, information and other content available on this Site (collectively, the “Content”) are owned by MedVet or are used by MedVet with permission. Although you can copy any part of this Site to your own computer for your personal use, you may not copy or incorporate any of the Content into any other work, including your own website, or use the Content in any other public or commercial manner. You may not change any of the notices regarding copyright, trademarks or other marks that may accompany the Content.
Submissions
You retain your rights to any Content you submit, post or display on or through the Site. By submitting, posting or displaying Content on or through the Site, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license (with the right to sublicense) to use, copy, reproduce, process, adapt, modify, publish, transmit, display and distribute such Content in any and all media or distribution methods (now known or later developed).
Any feedback, comments, or suggestions you may provide regarding MedVet or the Site is entirely voluntary, and we will be free to use such feedback, comments or suggestions as we see fit and without any obligation to you. Through your usage of the Site, you may submit and/or we may gather certain limited information about you and your website usage. We are free to use such information for any purpose we deem appropriate, including marketing purposes.
Use Restrictions
By using the Site you agree that you will not:

- collect information about others without their consent;
- collect or store personal data about other users for business purposes;
- reveal personally identifiable information about children;
- transmit any content containing viruses, trojan horses, worms, time bombs, cancelbots, or any other harmful programs;
- attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, others’ accounts or computer systems or networks connected to the Site, through password mining or otherwise;
- engage in any systematic extraction of data or data fields, including without limitation e-mail addresses;
- provide false information on your registration form, impersonate any person or the voice of any person, or otherwise attempt to mislead others about your identity or the origin of a message or other communication;

Pet Health Records and Other Information Provided by MedVet.
If you have chosen to access your pet’s health records or other information via the Site, you consent to receiving certain electronic pet health care records, which may be provided via a web browser or email application connected to the Internet. The information contained on the Site, if any, has been collected and/or prepared by MedVet as a service to its visitors. While MedVet has used reasonable efforts to verify that the information on the Site is useful to its visitors, MedVet does not warrant or guaranty its accuracy or timeliness.
No Endorsements
Although this Site may refer to products or services of third parties or link to third party sites or information, we do not endorse or make any warranties or representations about them. Any links to other sites are provided for your convenience only. You need to make your own decisions regarding third party products, services and web sites.

The Agreement shall be governed by the laws of the State of Ohio without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law or rule (whether of the State of Ohio or any other jurisdiction) that would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Ohio, provided, however, that disputes concerning patent, federal trademark, or federal copyright matters shall be governed by federal law. You consent to jurisdiction in the State of Ohio. Our failure to strictly enforce any right against you shall not constitute a waiver thereof. If any provision of this Agreement is deemed invalid, illegal, or unenforceable such provision will be deemed amended to conform to the applicable laws and the remainder of the Agreement shall remain in full force and effect. This represents the full understanding of the parties with respect to this subject matter. You agree that regardless of any statute or law to the contrary, any claim or cause of action by you against MedVet arising out of or related to your use of the Site must be filed within one (1) year after such claim or cause of action arose.
