Natalie Theus, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVD, serves as Director of Medical Recruiting. In this role, Dr. Theus leads the organization’s efforts to bring exceptional doctors to MedVet. In expanding our team of expert, compassionate caregivers we can serve more pets, advance care, improve patient outcomes, and remain veterinarian owned and led.
A BOARD CERTIFIED VETERINARY DERMATOLOGIST® by training, Dr. Theus has been part of the MedVet Columbus medical services team since 2012. She attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following her graduation from veterinary school, she completed a yearlong internship in small animal medicine and surgery at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She then worked as an associate veterinarian at VCA Westerville East Animal Hospital for two years prior to completing a three-year residency in small animal dermatology and a Master of Science degree at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After completing her residency, Dr. Theus limited her practice to dermatology first at VCA Advanced Veterinary Care Center in Indianapolis, Indiana and then at MedVet Columbus. She became a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Dermatology shortly after joining MedVet.
Dr. Theus volunteers with The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine Alumni Society, which offers the opportunity to teach the next generation of veterinarians. She also enjoys gardening, dining out, traveling, and is an avid distance runner.
