The Old Coughing Dog with a Murmur: Accurate Radiographic Diagnosis of Congestive Heart Failure

This live interactive medical program will review the accurate radiographic diagnosis of left-sided congestive heart failure in canine patients with acquired heart disease. In addition, an emphasis will be placed on understanding how to separate patients with a primary pulmonary cause of coughing from patients coughing due to congestive heart failure.

  1. Understanding subjective and objective evaluations for cardiomegaly.
  2. Common pulmonary patterns seen in coughing geriatric canine patients. Common causes of canine and feline respiratory disease.
  3. Understanding how to differentiate primary pulmonary disease from pulmonary edema due to congestive heart failure.
