Introduction to Integrative Services: Surgery and Oncology

This live interactive medical program will include the diagnosis, staging, and treatment of several cancers, including canine and feline mast cell tumor, canine osteosarcoma, canine soft tissue sarcoma, and feline injection site sarcoma. This program will focus on the benefits of an integrated oncology approach to case management and how two specialty teams come together to improve patient outcomes.

  1. Prognosis and prognostic variables, plus treatment options for various types of cancers.
  2. How to prepare owners for referral to integrative visits with more than one specialty service.
  3. Why an integrative oncology approach is useful in treating certain types of tumors.
