Julia Wright, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Vancouver, where she has been contributing since 2024.
Dr. Wright earned her Bachelor of Science degree in neuroscience from the University of Michigan before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Colorado State University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Wright’s passion for veterinary medicine spans all its facets, with special interests in emergency medicine, particularly trauma and toxicity, as well as anesthesia. She enjoys performing procedures and staying current with the latest research in veterinary medicine. The most rewarding part of her work is helping animals and their families through difficult situations and ensuring they get well enough to go home.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Wright loves reading and going to the gym, as well as spending time with friends, camping and climbing, plus movie marathon days.
