Jeffrey Barnet, VMD, is the Medical Director at MedVet Vancouver. He has been a part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Barnet earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in biology at Harvard College. Following his undergraduate studies, he attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine, where he received his doctorate in veterinary medicine. He then completed a small animal medicine and surgery internship at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates and small animal surgical internships at both VCA Alameda East Animal Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine.
Although interested in all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Barnet has particular interests in clinical education, laparoscopy, soft tissue surgery, and volunteering in underserved communities. One of his favorite parts of practicing veterinary medicine is making tangible, positive differences in the quality of life for pets and their families.
Outside of work, Dr. Jeffrey Barnet attends theater, listens to music, and enjoys all forms of coffee.
