Ellen Kuerbitz, DVM, MS, Diplomate, ACVIM (Oncology), is a Board-Certified Medical Oncologist at MedVet Cleveland where she has been part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Kuerbitz earned her Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Case Western Reserve University before pursuing her veterinary education at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She furthered her training with a small animal medicine and surgery internship at the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine and completed a medical oncology residency at Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Kuerbitz has special interests in immuno-oncology and immunotherapy. She believes that prioritizing a pet’s quality of life is one of the most important aspects of veterinary oncology, and her goal is always to help families make the treatment decision that is best for them and their pet.
When not treating patients, Dr. Ellen Kuerbitz enjoys reading, running, and spending time in nature. She also enjoys hanging out with her handsome tuxedo cat.
