Denise Radkey, DVM, Diplomate, ACVAA, is a Board-certified Specialist in Veterinary Anesthesia & Analgesia at MedVet Columbus where she has been part of the team since 2018.
Dr. Radkey completed a residency in anesthesia and pain management at University of Wisconsin-Madison Veterinary Care. Prior to her residency, she completed a rotating internship at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine, where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2014.
Dr. Denise Radkey has a special interest in critical case management and high-risk patient populations, CPR, and pain management. She has developed a specialized protocol for brachycephalic patients to provide a safer and less stressful experience when in the hospital. She also developed a protocol that provides perioperative guidance for high-risk feline patients to ensure they receive the best care possible. Additionally, Dr. Renise Radkey is a certified RECOVER instructor and is very passionate about improving CPR outcomes through regular didactic training.
When not in the hospital, she enjoys staying active outside with her dogs, gardening, running, or reading.
