Danny Sack, DVM, is a Veterinary Surgery Resident at MedVet Columbus.
Originally from Long Island, Dr. Sack attended Pennsylvania State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Veterinary and Biomedical Sciences. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following earning his veterinary degree, he completed a rotating medicine and surgery internship at the Animal Medical Center, a specialty internship in orthopedic surgery and sports medicine at Veterinary Orthopedic and Sports Medicine Group, and an additional specialty internship in surgery at Veterinary Specialists and Emergency Services.
Dr. Sack has authored and co-authored publications in the Canadian Journal of Veterinary Research, Journal of the American Veterinary Medical Association, and Frontiers in Veterinary Science.
Dr. Sack enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicinebut has a particular interest in arthroscopy, minimally invasive surgery, sports medicine, and rehabilitation. He enjoys working with special conditions including elbow dysplasia, osteoarthritis management, cranial cruciate ligament disease, and regenerative medicine. He is also certified in the use of stem cell therapy. Dr. Sack’s favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is being an active advocate for all his patients and helping families find the best treatment option for their pets.
When not treating patients, Dr. Danny Sack enjoys spending time with his fiancé (also a veterinarian) and dog. He is an avid drummer, Batman fan, and loves to scuba dive and surf.
