As MedVet’s original location, we’ve been helping pets since 1988. MedVet Columbus serves as an extension of your family veterinarian, providing advanced emergency and specialty care from experts and board-certified specialists. 

More than 39,000 patients a year come through our doors, and our trusted team treats each pet like our own. We know pets are an important part of your family, and we strive to provide exceptional and compassionate care. Our team has the expertise and the resources in our state-of-the-art facility to diagnose and treat your pet and get them home with you where they belong.  

If your pet is facing an emergency, you can come directly to our hospital – no appointment is needed. Our expert team is available for pet emergencies 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Urgent Care Services Now Available  

Urgent Care offers pets a skillful evaluation of unexpected, non-critical needs when your family veterinarian is unavailable. We help you get in, get out, and get better. You do not need an appointment to visit Urgent Care from 12:00 – 10:00 pm every day of the year.

Collaborative Care Matters for Pets Like Bree 

Bree was referred to MedVet Columbus after being diagnosed with cancer on her left eye and chest. Specialists from our Ophthalmology, Surgery, and Medical Oncology departments worked together to remove the cancerous areas and help Bree feel much better. She’s now doing well with her loving family at home.
