Helping Pets Heal Like Higgins

Higgins began dragging his back leg and was barely able to walk. A fibrocartilaginous emboli, or stroke to the spinal cord, was suspected. Higgins came to MedVet Akron for integrative medicine and rehabilitation. Higgins had a combination of acupuncture, laser therapy, underwater treadmill movement, and strengthening exercises. Within six weeks, he demonstrated significant improvement.
