Jen Burns

Chief Marketing & Experience Officer

Jen Burns, Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, has been a part of the MedVet team since 2025. She is responsible for the company’s strategic branding, marketing, and experience initiatives supporting growth, retention, and delivery of the MedVet Experience.

Jen is a chief member and advisor of the Women in Leadership Executive Program at The George Washington University School of Business. She received the Modern Healthcare Marketing Impact award in 2023, was included in Adweek’s Leading Women global network (formerly called Women to Watch) in 2018, plus was listed in Brand Innovators 40 Under 40 in 2014. She attended Vanderbilt University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. In addition, she earned a Women’s Leadership Certificate at Yale School of Management.

Prior to joining MedVet, Jen served as Senior Vice President, Brand and Growth Marketing at Village MD where she led patient acquisition marketing, brand building, and patient retention initiatives for Summit Health, City MD, and Village Medical. Before Village MD, Jen held various marketing leadership roles with Fortune 500 organizations including Motorola Mobility, TD Ameritrade, and Discover. She has more than two decades of experience leading lifecycle marketing programs, brand and employer brand positioning, and customer and employee acquisition.

When not at work, Jen enjoys traveling, cooking, and spending time by the ocean with her husband and two sons, plus their dog, Pogi.
