MedVet Cleveland Earns American Animal Hospital Association Accreditation
MedVet Cleveland has achieved the highest level of veterinary excellence following evaluation by the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). MedVet Cleveland earned its AAHA accreditation after a rigorous review of the hospital’s practice protocols, medical equipment, facility, and client service.
Unlike human hospitals, not all animal hospitals are required to be accredited. Pet owners can trust that an AAHA-accredited hospital follows the AAHA Standards of Accreditation, which are continuously reviewed and updated by leaders in the veterinary profession to reflect changing best practices from the cutting edge of veterinary medicine.
AAHA-accredited hospitals are recognized among the finest in the profession because they voluntarily choose to be evaluated on more than 900 quality standards that go above and beyond state regulations, ranging from patient care and pain management to staff training and advanced diagnostic services.
“We are proud of what this means for our hospital and our team. Earning this accreditation demonstrates our caregivers’ commitment to meet the highest standards for care and service in the veterinary profession,” said Dr. Diane Wilson, MedVet Cleveland Medical Director.
MedVet Cleveland is a 24/7 emergency and specialty veterinary hospital serving more than 18,000 patients annually. The emergency team consists of experienced emergency doctors and a highly trained team of veterinary technicians and assistants providing comprehensive care for dogs and cats.
