Katherine Robinson, DVM, Diplomate, ACVIM (Oncology), is a Board-Certified Veterinary Oncologist at MedVet Columbus, where she has been a part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Robinson earned her Bachelor of Science degree in zoology from The Ohio State University. She then pursued her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Robinson further honed her expertise by completing a rotating medicine and surgery internship at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, followed by an Oncology Clinical Trials internship at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her residency in Medical Oncology at the University of Missouri.
Dr. Robinson has a deep passion for all aspects of veterinary oncology, with special interests in comparative and translational oncology, preserving quality of life, the diversity of lymphoproliferative disorders, and histiocytic disease. Her favorite part of practicing veterinary medicine is the connections she makes with her patients and their families and the problem-solving involved in challenging medical situations. Dr. Robinson has contributed to the field through various publications, including studies on hemangiosarcoma, prostate carcinoma, and lymphoma in veterinary medicine.
Outside of her professional life, Dr. Katherine Robinson enjoys playing basketball, supporting women’s sports, especially Ohio State, exploring gluten-free restaurants and bakeries, enjoying the outdoors, and spending time with her partner and cat.
