Mason Saari, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Chicago, where he has been a part of the team since 2024.
Dr. Mason Saari earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in biology, Latin American studies, and Spanish from the University of Wisconsin. He continued his education at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree. Following veterinary school, Dr. Saari completed a rotating internship in medicine and surgery at the Arizona Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Center.
Although he is passionate about all aspects of emergency medicine, Dr. Saari has a particular interest in acute illnesses, including cardiorespiratory disease, hematologic diseases, and polytrauma. One of his favorite parts of practicing veterinary medicine is helping pets and their families during their times of greatest need.
When not treating patients, Dr. Mason Saari enjoys cooking, reading, and running with his dog.
