Joshua M. Berenson, DVM, is a Specialty Intern in Veterinary Surgery at MedVet Cincinnati, where he has been a part of the team since 2024.

Dr. Berenson earned his Bachelor of Science degree in electrical and computer engineering and a Bachelor of Arts in physics from the University of Rochester. He then pursued his passion for veterinary medicine, obtaining his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Berenson furthered his training with a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at Oradell Animal Hospital, followed by a specialized surgery internship at Guardian Veterinary Specialists.

Passionate about all aspects of veterinary medicine, Dr. Berenson has a particular focus on learning various surgical techniques, from orthopedics to minimally invasive procedures. He finds great satisfaction in applying his skills and knowledge to enhance the lives of animals and their families.

Outside of his veterinary duties, Dr. Berenson enjoys canine agility, hiking, and snowboarding.
