Shiori Echizenya, DVM, is a veterinary intern at MedVet Silicon Valley, where she has been contributing since 2024.
Dr. Echizenya earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in international liberal studies from Waseda University in Tokyo before pursuing her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine.
While her passion for veterinary medicine spans all its facets, Dr. Echizenya holds special interests in hospice/palliative care and pain management. Her favorite aspect of the veterinary profession is advocating for animals and improving their quality of life.
Beyond her dedication to patient care, Dr. Echizenya enjoys visiting cafes and relaxing in hot springs.
