Cristina Woods, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Indianapolis. She has been a member of the team since 2024.
Dr. Woods earned a Bachelor of Science degree in wildlife ecology from the University of Florida and another Bachelor of Science degree in biology from the University of North Florida. She then received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
While her passion for veterinary medicine spans all its facets, Dr. Woods holds special interests in emergency medicine, soft tissue surgery, and in providing multiple care options for families to make the best decisions that support them and their beloved companions. She developed these skills while obtaining a Shelter Certification from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Her favorite aspect of this profession is witnessing and promoting the bond between pets and their families. It’s incredibly rewarding for her to play a role in ensuring the health of their companions.
Beyond her dedication to patient care, Dr. Woods enjoys staying active by hiking with her significant other and pets and working out. She also loves reading books on rainy days and traveling to new places.
