Andrew Taylor, MS, DVM, Diplomate, ACVECC, is a Board-certified Specialist in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care at MedVet Columbus. He has been a part of the team since 2021, and you can expect exceptional skill, genuine empathy, and unwavering support for your pet during their time of need.
After completing his undergraduate studies at Williams College, Dr. Taylor earned a Master of Science degree in Sport Management from the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts-Amherst. His passion for animals and their wellbeing led him to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine. He next completed a rigorous rotating medicine and surgery internship at Tufts University’s Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine. This was followed by an Emergency and Critical Care residency at the University of Wisconsin School of Veterinary Medicine, achieving diplomate status in 2021.
Dr. Taylor’s clinical interests include mechanical ventilation, extracorporeal therapy, trauma, and wound management. His dedication shines brightest when helping pets and their families navigate crises, providing comfort and expert care when it matters most.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Dr. Taylor enjoys woodworking and cherishes time spent with his husband, children, and their menagerie of pets, including a cat, a dog, and shrimps.
