Dustin Liechty, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Salt Lake City where he has been a part of the team since 2021.
Dr. Liechty attended Southern Utah University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Dance Performance. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree through a joint program between Utah State University and Washington State University College of Veterinary Medicine. Following earning his veterinary degree, Dr. Dustin Liechty completed a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at the Purdue University College of Veterinary Medicine. Prior to joining MedVet, Dr. Liechty spent one year in emergency medicine and critical care at a specialty practice in Tacoma, WA.
Dr. Liechty has a special interest in cardiology and his favorite part of veterinary medicine is helping his patients. When away from the hospital, he enjoys hiking, cooking, baking, traveling, dance, and horseback riding.
