William (Billy) Blumberg, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Chicago. He has been a part of the MedVet team since 2020 and joined the Chicago team in 2023.
Dr. Billy Blumberg attended the University of Michigan where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering. He then earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Virginia-Maryland College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Blumberg is experienced in all aspects of emergency medicine and has particular interests in critical care and surgery. His favorite parts of emergency medicine is the variety of patients he encounters, the fast pace of the emergency room, and the excitement of continual learning.
When not treating patients, Dr. Blumberg enjoys hiking, skiing, cooking, traveling, spending time with his family, and listening to live music.
