Michael Wilkins, DVM, MPH, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian at MedVet Dayton where he has been a part of the team since November 2020. Dr. Wilkins attended The Ohio State University where he earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a minor in Anthropology. In addition, he earned a Master of Public Health degree in specialized zoonotic diseases. He then attended the Cornell University College of Veterinary Medicine where he earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Michael Wilkins has a special interest in infectious diseases. His favorite part of veterinary medicine is triage, the initial work up, and stabilization of critical patients.
In his spare time, Dr. Wilkins enjoys jogging, walking, spending time with his wife, and playing with his kids.
