David L. Novotny, DVM, is an Emergency Medicine Veterinarian who joined the MedVet Campbell team in May 2005.
Dr. David Novotny earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985 and has been in private pet practice since. He has held positions as a general practitioner in Stroudsburg, PA, Georgetown, Grand Cayman, San Diego, CA, and South Lake Tahoe, CA. He became an exclusive emergency medicine veterinarian in 2005 and has been a full-time member of the emergency medicine team ever since.
Dr. David Novotny enjoys all aspects of emergency medicine and is very excited about the rapid advances in veterinary care, and the increasing level of care we can offer our patients and their guardians.
In his free time, he can be found in Tahoe skiing and snowboarding in the winter, and hiking and swimming in the lakes in the summer. He is an avid triathlete and, for relaxation, loves to play his guitar.
