Meg Sislak, DVM, Diplomate, ACVR is a Board-certified Veterinary Radiologist and has been part of the VetRad team since 2013. Dr. Sislak obtained a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology from the University of Michigan and earned a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Western University of Health Sciences. She completed an internship in lameness, sports medicine, and diagnostic imaging at Virginia Equine Imaging followed by a small animal rotating internship at Michigan Veterinary Specialists. Dr. Sislak completed her residency at Texas A&M University, and joined the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation Clinical Scholars Fellows program. During this time, she worked as part of an interdisciplinary team to educate those in veterinary medicine on ways to reduce stress and burnout related to difficult client interactions and caregiver burden. She is passionate about increasing diversity and promoting equity, inclusion, and belonging in the veterinary profession.
Dr. Sislak enjoys being part of a diagnostic team helping clients enjoy more quality time with their pets.
When not reading radiographs, you’ll find her playing volleyball, walking her dogs, or hiking in Cleveland Metroparks or Cuyahoga Valley National Park.
