Anne Stoneham, DVM, Diplomate, ACVECC, is a Board-certified Specialist in Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care who joined the MedVet Pittsburgh team in 2016. Dr. Stoneham attended Cornell University where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science. Dr. Stoneham then continued at Cornell University where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine Degree. Following her graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Stoneham completed a yearlong internship in small animal emergency and critical care at The Dove Lewis Emergency Animal Hospital and a four-year residency in emergency and critical care at the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University.
After becoming a board-certified Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care in 2005, Dr. Anne Stoneham was a Criticalist and Emergency Specialist at VCA Veterinary Referral Associates in Gaithersburg, MD. While there, in addition to caring for patients, she enjoyed training interns and residents.
Although Dr. Stoneham enjoys all aspect of emergency and critical care medicine, she has particular interests in Addison’s Disease, acute kidney injury, and acute pancreatitis. When not caring for her patients, Dr. Stoneham enjoys spending time with her daughter, yoga, and time in the outdoors.
